Selfishness and sin causes pain and hinders God’s work. Lack of charity causes relationships to be broken and trust to be lost. Through Christ though, nothing is impossible and even when we’ve messed up and things seem like they are ruined, we can call out to him and he shall answer and come to our rescue. That is, if we are sincere and have sincere repentance. He can mend what seems to be the unmendable.
May God fill us with love and compassion and a sincere heart to do what is right.
“For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.” -2 Corinthians 7:10
