Fools strive for money and fame;
A wise man seeks heavenly treasures.
Fools will die in their sins;
A wise man has the Spirit without measure.
Fools fall apart in times of trouble;
A wise man prospers cuz he seeks the help of God.
Fools run to drugs and alcohol;
A wise man runs to God.
Fools bridle not their tongues,
But a wise man knows true religion.
Fools are influenced by sinners;
Wise men are rooted deep within.
Fools say there is no God,
But a wise man praises Yahveh.
A fool does not listen to council,
But for a wise man, instruction is His way.
Fools speak before hearing the matter;
Wise men wait and listen.
A fool often hardens his heart;
But a wise man is soft within.
Do not live life as a fool,
Instead be wise as a serpent.
Trust not in your own mind;
May your life be well spent.
