The Book – 7/1/19

V1:
The Book which holds the key to life,
It is the only way to go.
It tells us how to walk and guides,
It is the only way to know.
Chorus 1:
The only way to know the path,
The path of godly men.
The only way to learn His will,
And how to turn from sin.
V2:
He gave us His instructions,
So we can be free.
He shows us everlasting life,
But there is no guarantee.
Chorus 2:
No guarantee that we will choose,
The path which leads to Him.
For if we choose the world instead,
We will fall from deep within.
V3:
You cannot expect to live,
Eternally with God,
If all you choose to serve Him with,
Is your disregard.
Chorus 3:
The Lord gave us His book
so we can have a chance,
A chance to know what is ahead;
To choose the good over the bad.
