You heal the wounds of the broken
The shattered are made whole
You put the pieces back together

Why do the broken cling to you
With such intense devotion?
Because you are always there
Waiting with arms wide open
You heal the scars from when we fall
On the ground to our knees
You pick us up into your arms
And carry us to safety
They sought for one to save their souls
None but Jesus could
So to him they did cling tightly
For verily they should

My rock and my fortress
Your love is making all things new
